Minnie Andrade is the chief executive officer of Magellan Complete Care of Arizona (MCC of AZ). MCC of AZ provides integrated healthcare services to Medicaid and Medicare recipients.
Ms. Andrade is responsible for the management, performance and quality outcomes of the health plan. She is an engaging and strengths-based leader focused on ensuring MCC of AZ members have access to and receive the integrated care they need to live healthy, happy lives. Her strength-based, collaborative leadership style cultivates an innovative, member-centric and solutions-based health plan for central Arizona.
Ms. Andrade first joined Magellan as a consultant in June 2017 and brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare and executive management. She is well-versed in the Arizona Medicaid program and has deep roots in Arizona. Prior to joining Magellan, Ms. Andrade was a managing partner with 32nd Note Consulting where she provided leadership and operational expertise to Medicaid and Medicare health plans across the country. Additionally, she served as chief operating officer and chief customer officer with Phoenix Health Plan.
Ms. Andrade holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association for Healthcare Quality and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP) from the Management and Strategy Institute.
